Levitation

On February 26th, we met with Makeup by Cat, Jessica Kelly, and Sarah Stoma to attempt our first Levitation shoot. While the weather concerned us, the excellent company eased our worries as the day rolled on. Cat began by working her magic on Jessica. In the meantime, Sarah was kind enough to help us setup the first shoot.

Jessica was awesome on our first attempt. Even though we took frequent breaks to pause between the uncomfortable poses, Jessica  certainly got the rough end of the deal as we worked out our kinks. 

As the cold weather began to wear, the girls stuck with it and refused to give up. Neither one complained even once. We even managed to catch Jessica with a tear in her left eye at one point, due to the freezing wind.

As soon as Cat finished with Sarah’s makeup, we began  our second round of levitation madness. We learned from our mistakes, after working with Jessica, which made the process much quicker with Sarah. Cat even volunteered to be a mobile reflector stand!

The day was an awesome success. Thank you Makeup by Cat, Jessica Kelly, and Sarah Stoma for your support and patience. We enjoyed working with all of you and hope to do so again soon.

We had a fun engagement session with Kialea and Jesse. They are having a summer wedding, which we are looking forward to photographing! 

Olivia's 1st Birthday

We had the pleasure of photographing sweet Olivia last weekend.  She was so tolerant of the whole situation.  The weather was a little less than cooperative.  It was a very chilly day.  Here a few photos of her session.

Beginnings

We have enjoyed photography so much in our personal lives.  Photography has been a passion of mine since high school.  It has been a learning and growth process.  In the past year, I've got my husband hooked on photography, as well.  Just like any other profession, we plan to never stop learning and growing.  We've decided to offer our talent and service to others beginning in January 2012.  Our active blog and website will be coming soon.  Please visit our Facebook page in the mean time.
